AusBiotech Ltd., the national body representing Australian biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies in Australia identified the need to establish a national interactive database and information service that focused on Australian based biotechnology and biopharmaceutical organisations. In partnership with the Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing the Ausbioinfo information service was developed to assist current research and product development being performed within Australia to assist in collaborative, investment and industry incentive support.
